Looking for your opinions on the Lone Wolf hand climber vs the wide flip top climber.  I'm looking for light weight but also like to stay cool while climbing.  Anybody ever used the flip top?

Rock 'N Bow

I've never used the flip top climber, but I've used the hand climber for over 15 years. I can easily climb without breaking a sweat, and it is light weight and reliable. However, it gets a bit uncomfortable for all day sits.

I've got the sit and climb Lone Wolf and I think it is a great stand. I rotate the bar back under the seat when I get to the height I want.. You'll get hot and sweaty using any climber if you don't take your time climbing. I also replaced the factory seat with a hammock seat.

Got rid of that silly sit n climb metal bar and replaced it with a nylon strap which serves the same purpose, only better.

Use and love the hand climber. Can easily do it sweat free and have had my for 10 yrs now. My go-to climber but I will say it takes a bit of "athleticism" to use!
