Can anybody give me some feed back on them? Are they quieter than the vented simmons heads?

I have a few  packs I bought along time ago from simmons that I never even shot,,, I honestly didn't know there was originals now so I'm curious.

I shoot the originals and they are way quieter than the vented interceptors.  In my opinion, vented heads will always make a little noise, but they will make a lot more if they aren't tuned properly. my vented aren't loud, they're just louder than the originals.

I shot several deer with them. I bought them from Mr.Furgeson at a sport show.
Very effective. I shoot safaris now. Just a matter of weight, nothing else.

There is a gentleman on here that goes by the handle "interseptor"  he has killed a bunch of deer and perhaps other stuff with interceptors.

Great guy.  Great hunter.  He really likes those heads.  They are not legal in Ohio.  As the Simmons site says, check your game laws.

Some states consider them a "barbed" broad head.
Plant a fruit or nut tree today, and have good hunting tomorrow.

OK.  I have to fess up here.  I sincerely thought/think they are illegal in OH based on my "historical" knowledge of OH regulation.  I have just spent some time searching and find no reason in Ohio law that they would be illegal.

I am not saying they are or are not.  I am saying I firmly don't know and my claim above should not have been made.

I intend to call a CO this week and ask.  The way I read the law is 2 cutting edges not less than 3/4" and that's it.

I officially stand "ignorant".  I will say this, if they turn out to be legal, I am ordering some!

I had to ask here too, as it is no longer addressed in the regs. Warden told me they were legal now. Thus...I must try them.

I noticed the faster the bow the more noise that they will make. I gave a bunch of the old ones to my hunter partner, he loves them. I now shoot the 165gr (11gr inserts) and 125gr (50gr inserts) Tree Sharks, they work great and are much quieter.

I've used them in Ohio (game warden said they are legal). I take a small file and kind of round the back edge of the hole. It don't take much. They don't whistle or when you sharpen them coat them with a little bit of vasaline and put a little dab on the back edge of hole and it don't whistle
