Out of idle curiosity, I thought I'd like to see some data on the preferences of traditional bowhunters for gloves or finger tabs when hunting. I know both work well, it's simply a matter of personal choice, preference, and what you began with (perhaps). Thank you for taking the time to complete this. Ben

I use a tab now, specifically a Neet Palm Tab.  That way I can still wear gloves without interfering with shooting.  It just hangs from my wrist when not needed.

I started out with a glove a long time ago and have changed back & forth several times.
I find the older I get, the less I used to know!

since using the big shot glove, its glove all the way for me!

hope your keeping well down there mate!

I'm certainly keeping well, Andy! It's a great time of year to stalk pigs and dream about goats and camels in a few months...

Seeing I started this, I should point out that I use a tab (Black Widow).

Just my skin, nothing to wear out, break in, lose or forget....

Sorry, mate! I should've put that option in the poll! I clean forgot that some folks are tough enough to use their fingers (but now that you remind me I remember reading about Grover, Chet Stevensen's friend).

I use a tab.  Whenever I use a glove it feels like my fingertip is 6" from my anchor point!

I use a tab.  I like being able to wear a pair of wool gloves and with the adjustable strap on the tab I can adjust it to fit over the gloves.  Nice toasty hands.

I'm with Steve O.  I used to use a glove when I shot w/ wheels (dang, that's a decade ago now!   :scared:  ) but when I got back into trad archery after college I picked up a tab.  I got cleaner releases and they're a whole lot easier to make yourself.

In order for me to be ocnsistent in cold or warmer weather, I can't use a glove.  I need to use a tab that fits over top different hand-wear(Saunders Pak-Tab currently).
