Bear Track outfitters and Whiteshell outfitters cater to trad hunters. Guided for both of them. Mike the owner of Whiteshell Outfitters is a trad guy as well. And Mike is a great Guy !!.....Good luck !

I'd take Darren's advice he knows. I was hoping he would chime in.

Dont discount Saskatchewan around Carrot River...have been twice and lots of color phase bears there as well.  I used Rock Ridge Outfitters and would go back in a heart beat.

I think when bear hunting on bait it doesn't matter too much if the outfitter is trad friendly.  Most shots are pretty close anyway.  If it was spot and stalk I'd be a lot more picky.

I know I piggy backed this thread ,but hoped by doing so it would help generate some responses for David and myself. Like I said above I was looking for them same kind of info.

I too want to thank those who have responded and pm'd me as well.

I have also used Kent with Rock Ridge outfitters and he is very capable.  I'd go with him again.  Carrot river is close to Manitoba, too.
