Due to a family emergency cancellation with one of our booked hunters, we have an extremely rare opening for our Georgia bear/deer/hog combo hunt. Details can be found on my website but here is the skinny on it.

A 3-4 day hunt session is open for 1-2 hunters in September or possibly October.
Come and experience a bear hunt that is conducted in the beautiful and rugged North Georgia mountains. While primary focus is on bear, deer and hogs encountered during the hunt can be taken at no extra charge (limit one bear, deer and hog per hunter.  Hunts will be conducted near remote corn fields or high in the mountains as conditions warrant. These will be tree stand, ground blind and spot and stalk hunts as needed.  We will host a VERY limited number of hunters on this adventure each year. As an added bonus we will add a bowfishing session or a round of sporting clays during your hunt period if time allows. There is world class trout fishing available on a nearby concession.
These hunts book out many months in advance and it is not something we even advertise because of the limited openings. These hunts are in some of the most beautiful mountains you can imagine and Georgia has a fantastic bear population.

Visit my website below and then click on Georgia big Game hunts for details.

This offer is for a fully guided hunt but we also off assisted self guided hunts at a fantastic price. Check it out and let me know if we can help you with a great Georgia bear hunt!

Thanks for looking and I hope everyone has a great season.

Returning PM's in order. Note: The fully guided offer is for one group but I can take a couple small groups on the self-guided hunts. My permitted guide zone is 100,000+ acres.

Lots of questions have been asked about this hunts so let me give a little more info to help out.

We hunt on both private and public land in very remote areas of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Our mountains can be pretty rugged and the bear population is really good.
Our private land hunts are near corn fields and this can be crazy good hunting in poor acorn years. If there are a good deal of acorns we will travel to the best elevations high in the mountains.

We are in an area between the Cartecay River and Amicolola Falls region.  This areas beauty will take your breath away.

There is amazing trophy trout fishing in the area and I am talking GIANTS that I can set you up on and the three day hunts include bowfishing or skeet shooting.

We take only two small groups on the guided hunt each fall.  I hope this helps with the questions but please email if you need more info.

This is the year for a ga black bear. Due to the extremely heavy mast crop last year there was a very low kill and the bears are BIG. We had a good blackberry and buckleberry crop this summer as well. The acorns have shaped up to be the best Ive seen in years. They are very spotty but many trees did produce well at a few different elevations making them easy to narrow down. If I wasnt already entrenched with plans for my ga bear hunting, Id jump on this!

Usually seem to run into pigs wherever the bears are as well.
