Last time I was there was 2011. I'm going this year with my buddy John Lee. Question is, what should I bring, bows, knives, hawks... all of the above?    :dunno:
We live in the present, we dream of the future, but we learn eternal truths from the past
When you were born, you cried and the world rejoiced. Live your life so that when you die, the world cries and you rejoice.
Life is like a wet sponge, you gotta squeeze it until you get every drop it has to offer

Bring whatever you like. But your presence is more then enough.

For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people's sins against them. And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation.

A nice bear roast and your big dutch oven.

Ron can cook a bear roast over a campfire in a dutch oven like nobody's business. If I were going, that's what I'd vote for.

How about bringing a few ShrewHills? Maybe you can pack up "Blue Duck" so people can see it. Do you know if John is bringing his Hill collection?

Ron LaClair

Look for an old guy wearing a straw Panama hat and carrying a antler handled walking stick

Ron, Well bring some stuff you know I collect and when you pick me up Thursday it can stay here in Ida to lighten the load. See you then. My first time to go and really looking forward to spending time with you and John Lee, so much knowledge and you two share it openly, the history from a lifetime in archery is so rich. Its going to be a great 6 hr. ride and weekend.

What knives and hawks I'm bringing will be on Art Vincent's table. Art (Cedar Ridge Leather Works) makes the sheaths for me.

My LaClair Skinner knife is my favorite and it hangs on my belt all hunting season in Art's sheath (last guy on left, knife right next to the upper bow limb)

Ray,

That is one motley looking Shrew Crew!!!

If'n you all lost your bows, you could likely scare a few critters to death!        :scared:    :knothead:

:jumper:

This might be the first denton I've missed, that i'll regret, after 10 yrs away.

Ron's off the grid now. He's probably just having his first cup of coffee at Denton Hill at this point.
