What's a good starting brace height for a 70's era Kodiak Hunter.  I was shooting it at just over 7" and over it closer to 8".  Seemed like it shot a little better at 7 but that seems a little low.

Where are you measuring from? The deep part of the grip area or back edge (belly side) of the riser at the shelf?

Got the info on a search and got it dialed in last night.  Just needed to shoot a little more at the different BH's to really feel the sweet spot.

Where did it end up and how'd you measure? I have two KHs. I haven't shot them much. I'm trying to stick with the faithful Super Grizzly now that hunting season approaches.

I had a 73 KH, had it braced at 8" from the deepest part of the grip. Good shooting bow but my recurve baby is a 64 Grizzly.
