Buzz sound on my bow. Thoughts?

I have a 15" ILF Phoenix with long Dryad Epic RC limbs. Brace set about 7-7/8". Cat whiskers on the string. When I shoot in hear and feel some reverberation in the string.  My arrows are full length 3000 Vaporwoods with 125 gr tips for a total weight of about 450 grs.

Now with just the bow braced and I pluck the string like on a guitar, I hear the same buzzing sounds.  It sounds like a piece of metal lose that'soscillating. It's semi-faint but in hear it.  Checked all set screws and they're tight.  Any thoughts on this?

My guess is the Catwhiskers. Mine make that buzzing sound too.

What kind of string material?  More than likely you are on the right track, just haven't found the loose screw yet.

Chad it's a 3 bundle xcel.  The buzzing was there pre cat whiskers.

As a thought...could brace height be a factor?  I thought I was at a good setting. I'd I bump it up or down and pluck the string like a guitar,  if set at a better brace, should the string still reverb?

Only time I've heard cat whiskers make noise is when they were left too long.  Properly installed, they work great.  SVL has made a literal fortune with rubber silencing products.

Brace height can be a factor.  Higher brace may help.

My whiskers are 1.5". I'll fiddle with the brace once rain ends here. Thanks

My guess would be too low of a brace height

Check all your set screws and check the limb bolt collars

Thanks guys.  Little noises annoy me. I've checked all set screws and collars. As soon as the waters recede, I'll give her a go.

If you have a brass collar on the adjusting bolt make sure it is tight. You might have to put some Teflon tape on the threads to tighten it up.

Bingo, I think this is the answer.

The brass collars are threaded and I made sure they're snug. Water hasn't receded in the yard yet.  All these great suggestions that I'm itching to see the results.
Thanks!!
