I failed to draw anything once again.  Hopefully, some you were luckier than me.  Below is the link to the drawing results.

The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is nowhere as important as being able to place it in the correct spot.

Oh ya, everybody is trying to check the results, it may take several hours to get through.

I just can't imagine living in a state where I can't draw tags to hunt! That just baffles my mind. I would love to hunt in Montana some day, but if the residents can't draw the tags, I bet the non-residents have little to no chance!

Better luck next year!

Bisch-today is the drawing for Bighorn Sheep, Shiras Moose, and Mountain Goat. You just can't let everybody hunt them. With that said, there are areas in Montana where there ARE unlimited tags for Bighorn Sheep. There is a harvest quota and once it is met, hunting is done. No bowhunter has ever legally harvested an unlimited ram to my knowledge.

Walt, no sheep or goat tag here. I'm good with the big moose in AK.

Nada for me....again!   I got the special licensing blues...

Thanks Steve O! I was thinking elk and deer and such, and Walt said he did not draw AGAIN!.

That helps bring things into a better perspective.

I drew a goat tag for unit 323. Any advise from anyone who hunted there would be greatly appreciated.  I've never hunted in this area. I grew up/lived in NW Montana.

Dang, didn't even get the Breaks Ewe, that was so much fun was hoping to go after em again.... Maybe next year.

Congrats Myron, that should be a great time. I think you can come in from either the Boulder or Paradise Valley, pretty rugged country. There are a few guys on here that have hunted it, I bet they'll chime in.
Life is wonderful in Montana!!
