Just a small reminder to take a minute and thank our fallen brothers and sisters for their sacrifice. Their unselfishness gives us the freedom we all enjoy so much. So if you see a veteran or know one a simple "thanks" means so much.
The essence of the hunt for me is to enter nature and observe+ return safely occasionally with the gift of a life taken.

A.S.

Thanks for the reminder Tom.....well said!

Yes indeed, Hail the Fallen!  This is a debt we can never repay except for remembering those who made the ultimate sacrifice so that others may live free, celebrating their lives outside of service and who they were as people, AND living a life of worth that would do them honor.  This is most important.  Don't let their sacrifice be in vain.  Live a good life and stand up for the ideals this great nation was founded on in any way great or small that you can.

To be clear:
Memorial Day is not to be confused with Veterans Day; Memorial Day is a day of remembering the men and women who DIED while serving, while Veterans Day celebrates the service of all U.S. military veterans.

Important distinction Nineworlds. Thanks for pointing that out.

I have my own personal list that are always remembered and always in my heart.
To all of the others I say, "God bless you" and thanks more than I can convey.

Well Said! Rest in peace and thank you for giving the ultimate sacrifice.
I would've taken better care of myself,if I'd known I was gonna live this long!

Please remember our Brothers we have buried, you can thank them silently, they will hear you load and clear. No need to thank the living, its not our day.

Blue skies ahead to all my buddies.
