I have a Robertson Primal styk marked @ 66" 56#@28" The bow unstrung is 67 3/4" When strung it is 65" From nock to nock it is 63.5" which is what the string measured when I removed it from the bow. Looking at getting a new string. The brace height suggestion is 6 3/4" to 7" I'm sitting at 6 7/8" which gives me great arrow flight. So I am confident in ordering my string at that length after speaking to a member who makes some very nice strings from what I hear.

Got of subject a little. So tell me how is the bows length measured? Just asking because I'm sure others have ordered a string based on their bows length and probably had issues at one time or another.

along the top of the limbs and through the riser with a tape that you can lay flat on the limbs ,. then straight through the riser and along the top of the other limb to the notch.

God bless, Steve

here's a similar thread, although it deals more with string length (which obviously depends on bow length)    :)

And if you want to see how confusing it really can get, check out this thread
