The Traditional Archers of Oregon was invited to put up displays pertaining to trad archery in a Cabela's here in Oregon. We showed folks how to make arrows, selfbows, quivers, etc. Thought there might be some other folks around the country that might like to approach a Cabela's in your area to see if this is possible.  Here is a link to see what we did.

They are in the process of building a Cabelas here. Maybe in the near future. Looks like a good thing ti do.

That's pretty neat! We have one here in Buda,it's close to Austin, but never had anything like that.

Lady Frost

That is a good idea, we have 2 here in GA in Acworth and in Augusta.  I would attend that definitely.

Thanks for the idea.  I'm an archery outfitter in Greenville, SC.  I will see if we can do an event like the one in Tualatin.

Various bows, but if you see me shooting, it's probably a Toelke in my hand!

Sounds good. Sadly, after Cabela's opened around here, 3 or 4 "local" traditional shops closed.
