Should be stitched in.  If I get a chance this weekend I'll take a pic.

PowDuck

Are you talking about the strap that tightens the seat section to the tree?

It's a fixed position stand right?

If so, you just thread the loose end through the slot in the pivot pin, pull out all the slack and start ratcheting the lever. It should tighten up real good.

J-dog

Yeah it is a fixed position stand, and it is the latch that tightens the stand to the tree.

I will try that Dan, I had one years ago that was stolen but just picked this one up. Fot the life of me I cannot get it straight!.

Preciate the help guys, I will keep working at it.

Once you get it put back in properly, fold the end over and stitch it or put a key ring loop through the end so it won't pull back through again.  Had that happen to me once the opening morning of season and spent til well after daylight trying to get it put back together correctly.  It won't happen agan!  LOL...

Good point Aaron! Be bout my luck too.

Preciate the pics guys I got it now. Like I say I had one of these a while back (12 yrs or so) just couldn't remember how to get it right.

Thankyou,
