Looking to get a new shooting glove thinking of the American leather big shot, any suggestions.

I have the American Leather crossover.  Really nice glove.

I have an American Big Shot, but it just seems too thick for me,and no feel. I finally settled on a glove here recently and have been sticking with it and been very happy. It's a Neet with calf hair finger tips. It doesn't last all that long, but they are only twelve dollars, and they give a real good release. Another plus there is absolutely no break in required.

I have been shooting the big shot for years. Great glove. The first one did take me a little getting used to because the feel is different but after shooting it for a few days I wouldn't use anything else.

Big shot i have is a little too short in the finger stalls and is not condusive to the deep (or medium) hook. I now use a neet glove. Rich pyle

Going on two years with my American Leathers Bog Shot Crossover. Great gloves and worth their cost.
Howard Hill Red Hawk,68" 46@28
Black Widow PCHXS , 58" 42@28
St. Patricks Lake Northern Styk, 68" 44@28
Black Widow PSAXS 60" 46@28
Black Widow PLIII, 64" 47@28
St. Patrick's Lake Northern Styk 68" 44@28

If you like a deeper grab on the string the American leathers folks can make one with longer finger stalls, my buffalo glove works perfect and has just the right amount of feel without the brash effects like a thin pad on the fingers.

I shoot with a Damascus glove. My current glove is about 5 years old. I would say I've got my $$ worth out of it if it failed today.

I shoot the bigshot cross over, the quality and fit is better than any of my other gloves.
It did feel different being thicker for the first week. And I was shooting a bit off till I got  use to it. After that my shots where back and in tune. My fingers were defiantly thanking me for the change. shooting an 85lb longbow was giving me some solid callouses.

I have two Big shots, one elk, one  bufflo, I like them both. It is the fit that counts for me. Mine are over 10 years old, got them from the orginal owners.
I have tried the Damascus and those deer skin ones mentioned above, either sloppy fit or wore out to fast or streached from sweaty hand.

I got tired of the $13 gloves and the $20'gloves not lasting. I went back to AM leathers  big shot . And I like it a lot! I use to be in the feel the string camp. But I can hold longer and feel I have more control over my shot with big shot. Once you get use to it there is enough feel  Of the string.

Black Widow stik-tite, awesome glove, long finger stalls, great leather...   :archer2:

Thanks for the input. I've used many others gloves after what I've heard think I'll try the big shot.
