I need to buy a new string. I'v used Bikini Strings for a few yrs. I was thinking about trying another string maker. Who else makes a great skinny string? Any good string makers here in Colorado? Thanks.

If I ask that queston, answer is me.
I mean that you can by string or two but study to make your own strings.

Chad at champion custom bowstrings makes my strings and as long as he does I'll not even try someone else's.  Fantastic spwork, fast turnaround and knowledgeable.  Chad thanks for the years of great service.

I've been using Bikini Strings and love them. Curious to why you are looking to change string makers?

There are so many good string makers out there it's hard to single one out as "the best". We all have our preferences, and customer service is the deal breaker.

All the above mentioned string makers are great, but Chad from Champion Custom Strings is an absolute fanatic about making strings. He goes into such detail its uncanny.

****** Archery is who I got my last one off of. I will use him again as soon as I need another. Very happy with his work. Check his web site out before you order with someone else.

Ok my bad, I googled it up and apparently that guy is banned.
That is just a first for me on the *** thingy. But I got it figure now.

As for the strings I am sure any of the ones mentioned above are very good.

Thanks for including me in the list.

Honestly, making a good string just takes two things--good information and practice.  With those two ingredients, even I can do it.

As someone already said, "best" has a lot to do with opinion.  What's the best bow, the best arrow, the best broadhead, etc?  Get into the better ones, they will all get the job done well--just boils down to what you like personally.

I love making strings, I study strings and materials, and am very fortunate to have a great working relationship with BCY (who is, without a doubt, the best bowstring material manufacturer!)

Like all the other stuff,  you'll just have to force yourself to try out different ones and see what works best for you.  At least strings are cheaper than bows!
