It really was a season's worth of memories in a few hours. If I had filled the bigger buck, my buck tags would have been filled and it really would have been a season in one day. I would have continued to hunt because I enjoy hunting does but it would not have been the same. While I wish the big boy would have dropped, I have looked to see the benefit in the way things turned out. Like I said, I'm still hopeful for the opportunity to drop him later in the year.

Thanks everyone. I dug through the files and found this pic...the deer I recovered is on the left. The deer I wounded is on the right in the back. The one in front is still around, also. I have been blessed with options this year.
