I cannot seem to find out if my bow is capable of the higher performance strings.
I realize that I can put a B55 or 50 on almost any bow. I've emailed the maker, but he is probably out on a hunt.
My bow is a Cari-bow SLynx, 60" and #53 @ 28.  I can measure it for length myself, and I have the brace height and nock set info from the maker.
I'm not in an emergency, but sure woould like a spare in case I nick the one on it with a broadhead.

Also, does anyone have an app for arrow build?  I was thinking of an app where you can "build" a virtual arrow with wraps, nocks, fletching, and or figuring spines, points and inserts in the way that the Stu miller calc figures out arrow wieght and FOC%.  I can barely find the on button on my computer, and "defraging the hard drive" in my mind requires a lot of glue, but a computer person could really make a neat app.

You Slynx is made for FF strings. Don't know on arrow app.Jim

Thanks Jim.  I knew someone here would know.

I'd love to see an app like that tho...wish I had skills to match my imagination...

I own a 45# caribow peregrine for some years now.I shoot at 10 gpp and use a SBD 6 strands skinny string on it. Never looked back! Higly recommended!  I think you will need a 8 strands SBD. Talk to Pierre from SBD. He has a lot of knowledge,a true gentleman and stands behind bis products.

No apps, but did you take a look at the spine calculator of three Rivers?
It don't mean a thing if it ain't got that string! [/i]
Cari-bow Peregrine
Whippenstick Phoenix
Timberghost ordered
SBD strings on all, what else?

Knobbir

I have seen their caculator before, but it is improved.  I also like the stu miller one.  What I was thinking of was either of those, to get your numbers right, but add in a graphic component to see what the arrow would look like with fletch, wrap, whatever.
