Have a great time away, Chuck. Few things are more enjoyable than deer camp with friends. Enjoy!

Enjoy your time off Chuck, you earned it.

We are back Steve.
gorgeous country up there.

We have been without internet until Wednesday so I apologize for the late update.

the weather was fantastic until Thursday night. I think it was a tad warm but still saw some deer movement. I saw deer on each hunt as did most everybody else.
Owlbait played cat and mouse with a small buck and some doe's
Kevin and Treedancer each had encounters as well.

I saw a great 8pt on the night of the 1st. had him at 15yds behind brush. the next morning I watched him walk off a small field into the timber and lost sight of him from there.
Thursday afternoon it poured rain for an hour or so but I had a nice dry spot under a leaning Maple. I saw deer that sit but it was at last light before they made it to my location.
Friday it poured rain all day.
the forecast called for rain the rest of the weekend so Owlbait and I decided to head home early. Kevin was already scheduled to pull out Friday morning do to a coaching gig for his sons cross country team.

It was a great time and I thank George for his hospitality. We ate like kings. Boiled dinner, Fried chicken, Spaghetti, and more snakes than a fella needs. Blue berry pie and apple crisp all hand made by the Treedancer. he treats us right, and I cant wait to go back, maybe at the end of the month.

The coolest sign, ever. Georges wonderful wife had this made up. It is sweet.

Very cool. I have a little lot up there close to George but can't seem to get any time to go to it much less drop in for a visit.

Someday there will be a little retirement cabin there Lotd willing.

Cool. Then I will have two Friends to visit in the fall.
