I have a red wing that I got in 1981 . Its the bow I got my first coyote with and I'm not sure how many coyotes it has taken. Had to put it on the wall ,the tips was getting thin only been 33 years of shooting. Any way A good buddy of mine redid the tips and refinished  it, looks like new. And it still out performs any of my other bows.
Here it is with my first coyote.

and here its after repair and refinishing.

Here she is with her little sister and a really mad self bow that I told was going to be my number one bow this year. Stuff happens.   :archer:

Nice bow Thumper!  I'm sure it's even more special now.  My first "real bow" was a Red Wing Hunter I got in 1974.  I don't shoot it much anymore, because it only has a 35# draw, but it is sitting next to me as I type this.

I am always in awe of your coyote killing ability.  I've killed a lot of them with about every other type of weapon, but I've never killed a called coyote with a bow.  Truly a remarkable feat!  Take care - John

Good lookin bow, love the grip on that bow.

Very cool!

It just shows how sometimes a little history can be cooler than any new toys.  It'd be interesting to see just how much fur that thing has put on the ground.
For we did not follow cleverly contrived myths when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ; instead, we were eyewitnesses of His majesty.

I too have an old Wing, but it sits. Thus the problem with having several bows.

You are an inspiration Tim. I look forward to reading the threads you start.

(Now where's that old Wing.?.?.?.)

Thumper, I am one of your fans cuz you do such a job on the dogs, but now that you are shooting the old wing, well just makes it better. My first bow was a Red Wing and that was about 45 yrs ago. I may try and pick one up if I get the opportunity. Bow looks great, you have a good friend there.

I like the tip job your friend did on your wing recurve.  Keep thumping those brush wolves...by the way what kind of call do you use?

Great looking refinish! May she bring you many more years of 'yote killing!
