Very true.  A buck the size I posted would have been almost unheard of in PA prior to enactment of our current antler restrictions - especially on public land.  When I was a kid, the area I killed that buck in was noted for only producing spikes and 4 points.  "Curry Run Trophies" as we called them.  Times have changed in PA for the better.  Still nothing like the mid-west, but much better than what it was 20 years ago.

Here are my PA bucks from the past 3 years.  The last photo is a nice one I shot in MD ten years ago.  There are some incredible bucks around the eastern shore of Maryland!  A whitetail paradise.
