I feel like a little kid waiting on Christmas!  I bought a Centaur off a a fellow Tradgang member. He shipped it yesterday.  It is going to be here Saturday. It is a beauty. I have to work tomorrow so that will occupy my time tomorrow.  I am excited and can't wait! Sorry just had to vent.

I bought a used bow around the first of the year and bought a spot for a build in November.  The used Centaur I bought is SWEET

culleng

That's great to hear. Everything that I have read and heard says that they are a sweet shooting bow.

I have a Centaur triple carbon. Wow! It smokes an arrow and is very quiet. Might be the perfect bow if only I had bought a two piece.

Looks like you and I might hafta meet up before the McAlester hunt! Lol. I have wanted to try a Centaur since I first heard about them! Congrats on the bow!

I'm a certified centaur fanboy. I have two and I really don't think there's a better hunting longbow out there.
Self reliance cannot be bought

When asked for my "Top 3" list of longbows, the Centaur is always there.

Dang, Cullen. I wish I had known about that before, I just switched shifts to 4pm-12am. So I'm working on Monday evenings now.   :knothead:

I know how you feel, my name finally came up on the list after almost a year and it's getting built as we speak!

Hope you enjoy your new to you, I hear great things (that's why I bought one haha!)

culleng

Got it tuned up and shooting it. I love it! It is 51 lbs @ 28 It shoots harder than my recurve that was 55 @ 28. It is super quiet and has very little hand shock. The bow is beautiful.  I can't wait to  carry it to the woods this fall.
God and family.
