Tuning Question from a newbie

Folks, not sure where to ask this, BUT here goes.  I am shooting great groups at 20-30 yards, but the group is just left of my intended spot.  If I shoot 6 arrows, 4 of them will be left of target. Am keeping bow arm up, don't think I am plucking,  and know I am reaching my anchor.  Heres the gear:

60'' RER XR 57#@28.  I shoot 52# at my 26.5" draw.  31 inch Trad. Only arrow 400 spine.  125 grain head, 50 grain insert.  5" feathers.
15% FOC.  9.1 grains per inch, excluding point, feathers, wrap.

One friend suggested a heavier head, maybe 150-175 to lighten the spine.   What do you all think?  THANKS!

I assume you are right handed if you weaken the spine it will move to the right as your friend notes.  Your friends suggestion is reasonable. Another possible fix is to soften your side plate.  If it is leather go to Velcro if Velcro go to a Martin rug.   My general thought with a relatively long 400 spine arrow and 175 grains up front it should fly pretty well. One thing that I find is that it is usually me not the equipment. Not maintaining back tension and allowing the elbow to creep forward or simply slightly raising or moving your head to the left to watch the arrow fly will also cause the arrow to move that way.  If the bow is not canted to the right as much on a shot it will push the arrow left. I am certainly no expert I am a beginner as well and I am sure you will get much better advise.  I would try the tip weight change and see what happens.   Good shooting !!!

I can't think of a simpler test than switching point weight. If you don't want to buy other points, you can probably borrow a couple to try. Takes a minute or two and if you are close, and I would say it certainly looks close, a bit more point weight should move the group to the right. Try some 145, 150, and 175 gr points and you should see it move.
