That is all I used since I started Traditional Archery.  Good for me.
Life is about learning from your mistakes!

Velcro is great for all the reasons mentioned. But I now use a calf hair plate and rest. The one thing Velcro did that I did not like is I notice my feathers wore out faster with Velcro. With the calf hair I'm getting twice the life out of my feathers.
And we know how expensive  feathers have gotten.

What Black Widow used for years.  Cut and placed with a gap for fletch to slide through helps too.
If we're not supposed to eat animals ... how come they're made out of meat? ~anon

Bears can attack people- although fewer people have been killed by bears than in all WWI and WWII combined.

The Whittler

I don't know if it was mentioned but you use the soft side of Velcro.

I love that..........that is making it happen.   :bigsmyl:

I did have one instance where the industrial stuff was to thick, so I took a pair of sissors and trimmed it back, problem solved

That's where I learned about it from. I also keep a gap for the fletch to slide through as well. It's all I use for both the side-plate and the rest.

I like it for the shelf, and calf hair for the side.
