Any moose would be proud to fall for a bow like that!

That is a looker and a sweet shooter if Don and Darren are telling the truth about how it slings an arrow.
It will be a few weeks until Don gets mine done. I had to have one made for the moose hunt as I'm going with Darren.
Although my bow will have some different specs than Darren's with the shelf being on the correct side!!!  Can't wait.

A classic beauty, good choice of woods, I'm not familiar with
The bowyer but  if it shoots half as good as it looks it's a winner.
 Good luck on the hunt.

Just got a Big River with Ziricote in the riser that is a nice looking heavy wood.  Laminations look pretty too.

Hey Darren,   I booked a moose hunt for fall 2015 as well with Conneriver Outfitters. What outfitter are you going with?  What week?  Hope to have other trad shooters there.

Pete McMiller

Nice piece of Ziricote - I really like the color variations.  Moose won't have a chance.

Scott, I and my buddy went with Portland Creek Outfitters. They have a great reputation and Leonard gave us a good deal. Mr. McMiller has a story on here somewhere about the moose he killed with them last year.

I looked at about 1000 outfitters, it seemed like, and it really came down to cost.

We are going the last week of September 2015.

Good luck with getting other trad shooters in camp. I think it's hard enough just getting bowhunters.

Darren
