Anyone using the current version of DAS foam core limbs? I have been thinking of getting a set but would like to know about speed, smoothness, and noise.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Hamish,
If you want a deal on a nice pair of wood core (DAS) in the lost camo,I have a pair. Really nice limbs. Longs and 45#@28 on a 17"riser.

I had a pair of the wood core limbs and liked them a lot but I am curious about the foam-core version.

I've had the Das Daala foam cored longbow limbs made by sky archery for 3 rivers. I would rate them as average, actually liked their wood core limbs better. I found mine to be noisy and try what I could couldn't seem to quite them down. They had noticeably more mass (beefier) than TT carbon masters and dryad epic LB limbs. Speed was as advertised 4-5 fps faster than the wood cored limbs, but not quite equal to the tt carbon masters (which are my favorites). Smoothness again average. I really wanted to like them  better... ended up selling them.
