That video was great.  I had an idea but wow, what time and effort goes into the finished product.

I finally had a chance to watch the video yesterday.
Much more involved than I was thinking originally - I can't see anyone complaining about the cost of a custom bow after seeing that !

Thanks for all of the supportive feedback! I'm glad you guys are enjoying it. I want to thank Ryan and Leonard again for their efforts in the project. Leonard and I just finished shooting the last of it last night. It is going to go on the Stalkers in the Backcountry DVD as bonus footage. You'll also be able to see the full version on the Stalker website when we (ummm...I mean Ryan, can't take ANY credit for the fine work he is doing)get the last of the editing finished.
Thanks again you guys, I'm glad you're enjoying it. It inspires me to do more! (Ryan..."OH NO!!")

We completed the bow building video and we're almost done with "Stalkers in the Backcountry"...

We're be sure the let you know when the DVD is ready.

Love it!  I always enjoy watching someone who knows what they are doing make something beautiful out of wood.  All the jigs and specialized clamps...etc are outstanding.

Was finally able to spend some time watching this.  Wow is all i've got to say.  South is making a coyote recurve for me.  I was lucky enough to win it through the PBS big five bow raffle.  Should have it by the end of June.  Can't wait to get my hands on it.  I'll post pics when I get her.  Tim...  I may let you touch it at Denton.
