I'm the guy who relieved Biathlonman of his SS.  It is a TD, so a little heavier in the riser, 51@28 and has the classic grip.  A string shoulder rotator cuff tear has kept me from shooting it much, but I spent some time with it on the range today.  I only draw 26" so don't think I see as much of the benefit of the static tips, but the first thing I noticed was the need to lower my point of impact.  It is quicker than my regular mild D/R bows.Having shot longbows for many years, I seem to be numb to handshock and felt absolutely nothing with this bow.  I'm also feeding it Surewood Firs at over 10 gpp.  I need to put some arrows thru paper, but it was shooting 63-65 lb spine, 28" BOP with 125 gr points like lasers.  It is also very quiet.  I'll continue to work with this bow and match up some lighter fir arrows with it.  I need something that will let me shoot the 80 yd walkup on our Field course and this SS may be it.

I also have a Chinook that is waiting on some range time and hope to have a Whip before long.  I won the Toelke bow in the PBS bow raffle last month and am thinking a 62" Whip.
