Thanks for the comments.  I needed to share with someone.  My wife knew how much it ment and was happy for me.  She always understood why I went elk hunting every year.
This is the bow I used.  Made it a couple years ago. Like I said it is 93 #s at 28".  Osage with diamond back rattlesnake for camo.

way to go man, congrats!!!!!!!!!!! my friend Adirondackman from Tradgang is on an elk hunt right now with a bow he just built, i hope he is as lucky!
