I thought I'd post my latest on here.  Bow is for a friend who is moving away.  He was nice enough to bring my son and I to a ranch in Wyoming last year so our sons could shoot their first big game animals at age 13 with rifles, kids are best friends. So I owed him a debt of gratitude for that.

Woods are Osage, Black Walnut and Juniper/bamboo on the limbs.  The significance of the woods was Black Walnut for SE Minn where he's lived and hunted all his life, Osage from Iowa where he went to college and met his wife, Juniper from Wyoming where he lived for several years and goes back whenever he can (don't we all!)

I'd like to thank Hornseeker for the Juniper in the limbs, it was great of him to get some out to me in such short notice.

My first stab at a footed riser, thanks to Badlands and Holm Made for the help with that and for some timely limb straightening advise during crunch time.

Enjoy!

Luckily I build bows better than I put together posts! Thanks for all the kind words, building bows for friends to commemorate special times is one of the main reasons I took it up. Seeing the wow factor on their face is priceless. I should fess up that another reason I wanted to build a theme bow is that I've watched too much dang American Chopper!
