Replacement hood foam for great northern

Hey guys I want to replace the foam in my adjustable GN.  Is there any tricks or hints I should know about before I start digging the old one out.  Can't find any videos on YouTube on going about this.  I'm sure it's pretty simple but just want to do it right. Thanks
