How do these two bows compare for you that have had or shot them both. I have a 30 inch draw, and was wanting something short for blind hunting. I like the PSR and the KB.

Sean B

Two very different bows.  I've had a PSR and I have a KB.  They are both pretty light bows, If you like a recurve grip the KB is the way to go.  If you like that low long bow grip, then go for the PSR.  The best way is to try to shoot them side by side.  If at all possible, go give Toby, Roger and John a visit.

Yea I know they are light, that is a positive to me. I have always wondered what a PSR would look and shoot like with a bolt on quiver. For as performance goes, was it a noticeable difference?

bretto

I shoot a 60" PSR at 30" draw with a EFA 4 arrow quiver. I have several BW bows and this is my favorite.

Lightweight and by far the quietest BW I  owned. That's shooting 3 under.

I haven't shot the KB yet. It didn't look comfortable at 30" to me with its short length.

Bretto  could you post a picture of your bow with the quiver and arrows on the bow. I figure the quiver gives it a little more mass weight. Thanks

bretto

Here's a picture for You MBH.

If You haven't used a EFA quiver they are super light. I really don't notice much difference with it and the arrows or when I use the PSR and my Arrowmaster.

I have a Thunderhorn Small Fry quiver that I notice when it's on here. Very different quiver though. IMO

Hey Bretto, You didn't have that bow bunny hunting with us last year did you??

I like a little more mass weight.  I shot my PSR with a GN strap on.  As I said, I'm gonna sell some stuff off and order a new PSR!

I had my B-Mag Bear when I was up there Sean. I flew in and needed a T/D.

It's funny but as big as my hands are I like a narrower riser. The PSR fits Like a glove and shoots real good. I would love to get a T/D some day.

Bretto, are those full length shafts? Thanks for the picture, looks like a hunting machine.

bretto

Those are 32" CE Heritage 150's. The PSR is 42 @ 28". I draw it to 30" so roughly 48 lbs.

I put 200 grains up front and the 150's fly great for me out of this bow.

I have a KB and just did a test drive with the PSR. Both are smooth on the draw with the KB appearing to be just a tad faster. I draw 28.5 -29". Both bows are 58" and 47 & 48# @ 28" shot the PSR with and w/o a GN strap on.
I have a few Widows both recurves and PLX's, I shoot them equally as well . After playing around with the PSR even though I don't really need it I will order one . It's one of those bows that's fun to shoot and hits where you look.

Thanks for the info. The PSR is looking better & better!!!

Blueridge

I think it would all boil down to grip styles . They are both great bows. I have 2 bows to sell( not Widows) and I will give Roger a call pronto.
Good luck with you choice
