Thinking about "taking the plunge" on an ILF riser.  I know the purists insist on all-metal, but if it doesn't have some wood I just can't warm to it. Considering wood/phenolic for additional stiffness.  What woods compliment phenolic? A black/white ebony would be a looker, but I bet you have to "slap leather" for that stuff?  Pics get extra credit...thanks!

My favourite is cocobolo/phenolic. Take a look at some of Bob Morrisons risers.

I'm also a big fan of cocobolo ...... and adding some carbon limbs would be the bomb!

Add a matching handled carbon steel knife and I'd say you are set

Hi Richard,
Bill Dunn of Zipper Bows offers an ILF riser in your choice of woods I believe! Check out his website.   www.zipperbows.com

Saw this TT Black Magic on another site.  Sweet riser for 4 bills. Phenolic and Walnut.
