My gear took a pretty severe beating the other day and now the fletchings on my beautiful wilderness custom arrows look like drowned rats, anyone have any suggestions on how to restore them to their original beauty and form? Thx in advance !!

You can try steaming them. Put a tea kettle on the stove and when the water boils hold the fletching in the steam coming out of the kettle. Make sure to rotate the shaft and keep your hand away from the steam.
Do not follow where the path may lead.  Go, instead, where there is no path and leave a trail.
