After a couple of missed shots, I've put 2 1/2 deer in the freezer.   A big doe last Saturday morning that dressed at 135#.  A nice doe this morning that dressed at 120#.  Last Saturday evening I shot a deer that was on the, shall we say, "small side".  It was by itself & offered me a good shot, so I took it.  When I recovered it I discovered it had a severe case of ground shrinkage.  Needless to say, I needed no help loading it the truck! LOL  Been using a Tall-Tines Bow/Gold Tip Shaft/Woodsman combo

Sounds like a great season. I like to shoot young little one for eating, so don't worry about the small ones.

I too love shooting the little ones. They taste fine and I can work one up myself without too much trouble. Congrats!!
