Congrats, and way to stick with it!

Been debating on picking up a '63 Kodiak myself - that's my birth year. Just like the look of the dogleg, although it didn't last long on the market.

Maybe I'll go poke around the classifieds or that big auction site...

Very sweet! I was debating taking out a '63 Kodiak or Grizzly this past weekend and went with my '61 Kodiak Special instead. I shot a nice 1.5 year old doe with it on Saturday. The marked weight on the bow is 30lbs and with my draw it's about 35lbs. I'm still fighting a little post rotator cuff surgery stiffness, so I went light.

Do not follow where the path may lead.  Go, instead, where there is no path and leave a trail.

Congrats Mark.  Nice shot and very cool story.

Nice job.  I am hunting with a 48 year old Grizzly this year, so hopefully I'll have a pic or two to post in a few days.  Things are really heating up here and the next 2 weeks should be fun!

Congrats!! You and the old bow gotter done.
