three in a leaf...

little game I used to play...with my Dad and my Son...it is fun, and also makes you a better archer.

the idea is the shooter gets the chance to put "3 in a leaf"...out or ten or twenty tries who has the most.

you would be surprised how much your accuracy improves with a little friendly competition...



and better yet your success rate on shots...

any hit even close is a kill...but for me it does help get rid of some bad habits or tendencys shooting...

of course hunting conditions are always different, but knowing your bow and its capabilities is a good thing...

we used to even go a step farther and make a "called shot"...like shooting on your knees, behind a tree etc...

I like that, really makes ya pick a spot.  we stump shoot a lot, and go for tiny bullseyes as well.  helps a lot and lots of fun.
is it September yet??
