Sorry, I thought they were comparing AMO and IBO speeds of Traditional vs Modern. I'm not sure how you can do that if you can only provide numbers for one side.

I sure didn't think I was disrespectful either.

You could probably test it yourself using a goldtip ultralight 500 with about a 45 gr tip. The spine should be close. Probably a bit on the weak side.  It would be good test of a bows durability too.

When I shot a wheel bow a few years back it's ibo speed was 334 fps.Suposedly the fastest solo cam bow on the market until next year.  I chronoed the bow with my hunting setup, 62 lbs @ 30" 520 grain arrow, and I got 250 fps.  That is 8.38 grains per pound.  I converted to traditional 2 years ago never to go back yet every time I ask about a bow the first question is "how fast is it".  I have a turkey creek longbow 45@28" and a fedora extreme 57lbs@28".  They shoot a 654 grain arrow at 164 fps and 184 fps respectfully at my 30 inch draw. I might add that I was squatted down on almost one knee and bent at the waist at a 45 to get the right height through the chrono. The arrows are too stiff for the tc,  just wanted to see how they shot the same exact arrow because I am so impressed with the speed of the tc.  That all said, speed translates into ke and momentum and is a very important aspect of a bow behind accurate and quiet which both of my bows are.  I hope this info helps and hope you find your answer.
It's not the arrival, it's the journey.
