Sweet! Does using the flame cresters require going back and re-straightening constantly as you're heating the shafts?

I really like the color scheme, very sharp!
No. I get all my flame cresting done, stain the shafts and then straighten them. Sometimes the heat will really warp a shaft and sometimes they are as straight as can be.

I used to do my flame cresting after I stained the arrows but ran into some problems. You have to wet the templates down constantly to keep them cool and I kept dripping water on the shafts when I did this. The dripped water would sometimes cause the dye to run or discolor.

Darren, those are nice. Just don't shoot one where the fall maple leaves are dropping, you'll never find it.

If good looks bring good mojo, critters in yer woods don't have a chance.
For we did not follow cleverly contrived myths when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ; instead, we were eyewitnesses of His majesty.
