Don't have any dead elk pictures I can show on this sight, but someday soon I'll cross paths with a stupid one and get a good shot off, missed two with the stick so far in two seasons and had to pass several shots so I'm due!

Ha! After looking at that photo several times I just now noticed the guy in jeans behind the tree.

Look at the heart lung area there are blades of grass showing you where to shoot this bull. I also just saw the guy in blue jeans. Funny how we sometimes only see what is right in front of use.

Two more weeks and I will be off to Idaho, my third attempt at taking a bull.  I have very high hopes on this trip.  Well off to hit the community stair stepper, 500 steps up to the top of our ski jump!

It's getting close now! My brother and I are doing a pack-in DIY.  Been going over my gear for the ump-teenth time,  headed out in about 2.5 weeks.  Really getting stoked.

Less than two weeks and I have the whole season to hunt.  the date and time are wrong. this was about a month ago.
