Tedd, I hunt some in Sullivan Co. and the deer are few and far between like most of the northern tier. Way more plentiful down here in the Susquehanna Valley thanks to all the corn and soybeans!
We are all here because we are not all there.

Never go on a road trip of any kind I don't pack the bow and at least a kick target. But you'd be amazed at the folks I've met and been able to shoot with when they see you shooting. Alot of archers out there willing to share a target with a fellow archer.
Bowhunting is a passion, not an obsession. Its just hard for my wife to tell the difference sometimes.

I know it will never happen again that's for sure but I head home to PA in the morning so I can play catch up I guess  :clapper:  :archer2:

Yep sand dunes make a good backstop. BTW, don't forget the bowfishing. Jumping mullets make a worthy target. Trust me you will wear yourself out getting one but it is fun and they are not just for bait. Excellent grilled and smothered in your favorite BBQ sauce.

I often dreamed of the fun you could have at Ocean City MD with a bucket of Thrashers french fries, a longbow, and a dozen flu-flus.

Heck, it was raining.

With friends we have a vacation fishing/diving spot in Punta Chivato, Baja Calif. Mex. While practicing there years ago some local military stationed nearby warned us that archery equipment is still considered as weapons in Mexico and need permits.  Now I stick with blank bale shooting inside garages while there...Tom

Once in awhile I would go over to the fairgrounds and shoot from the bleachers out onto the field. easy to get elevation and shoot about 30 yards.
Being on the Fair Board had some perks!

Hey Tedd,
Just thinking about you yesterday when I picked up your old Morrison's to shoot...1pc Dakota & Cougar.  Do you still wirehaired Dachshunds?  tippit

Tippit,
That copperhead cougar was cool. I wish I would have ordered it with longer limbs. It shot nice and was light in the hand. It just got hard on finger pinch for me after a long day of shooting it. Darn.
I'm glad it is working for you.
Yes, I have old Molly. I recall you sent some tick medicine for her. I use the same stuff now all the time purchased locally. She doesn't get to track deer often. But she can do it pretty well when needed.

Tippit,
Carlisle, MA? Is that anywhere near Worcester? My daughter just gave her verbal commitment to play basketball at Holy Cross in Worcester starting in the fall of 2014. I'll have to get hunting spot ideas from you!
