My shooting was just flat insanely horrendous tonight.  It was getting quite comical.

Been there ........... done that . Just putting it down for the day is the right thing to do. Get it out of your mind, and start a new day.
Hmmmmm. I know you think you understand what you thought I said, but I'm
not sure that what you heard is what I actually meant!

Hate nights like that! Makes my never go in on a bad arrow rule really tough to follow!

Had one of those evening myself tonight.  After a bit, I just moved up close and blank baled for about 30 minutes....then called it a night.

Just because you are passionate about something, doesn't mean you don't suck at it.

After "one of those days" ive been known to lay my shooting aside for 2 or 3 days, gives the mind and muscles time to regenerate.
In my case, taking a short break from shooting after "one of those days", seems to rekindle my mind ,body and spirit, which in turn, puts me right back on track again.

It didn't help that I did a heavy shoulder workout and some stadium steps late this afternoon.  I just couldn't settle my anchor tonight.
I like to shoot after workouts like that to simulate the real deal

Medic, I often shoot after workouts, on upper body days I seem to have some of my worst days of shooting, having a lot of trouble getting a good anchor. I normally keep these sessions to about 10-15 arrows max, to avoid getting frustrated and making things overall worse. Good luck tomorrow

All that matters is that my first shot of each group was good but it went downhill quickly after
