File sharpen fans... we know there is just nothing like a quality file right? What is your favorite file or series of files?
Cut and length?
I can't find the 10" file I had, my 6" file is a Grobet bastard single cut. It is an excellent file and lasted for a very long time.
The 3 rivers site says theirs are double cut? I'm sure I got my file from 3 rivers and it is a single cut.
I'm wondering if the info on 3 rivers is wrong or they actually are double cut now?  It seems double cut would be unnecessary and shorten the life an effectiveness of the file.
It seems it's common practice to use all bastard cut files from 10"  - 8" - 6" . The smaller file giving a finer finish.
Why not stick with three 10" files and use bastard cut-2nd cut and final cut?
Just wondering what everyone uses? I can see why some guys just can't get the edge they want on a broadhead because they could unknowingly be using a file thats not quite right.
