I picked up my new to me Morrison Cheyenne today.  It's 62", 43#@28" with a Cocobolo riser and amber stained Bamboo laminations.  It is a sweet and flat shooting bow!

The only take-down bow I own is a Cheyenne. Very sweet shooter, it has killed a couple of bunnies for me. Don't believe I will ever let that one go. Glad you are liking yours as well!

I have two of Bob's one piece bows and never cared for three piece bows. That is until I picked up a Cheyanne now my one piece bows are lonely. My is 60" and 61 @ 28 talk about a hard hitting bow !

Killdeer, I made that mistake!!!  I killed a bear with my Cheyenne.  In a momentary laps of sanity, I sold it!!  I did however, find a new one in the classifieds!!  Great bows

Killie,

This Cheyenne is as sweet and accurate a shooting bow as I've owned!  And I've owned 200+ recurves and longbows over the past 13 years!  The only improvement I can possibly forsee is getting a set of Max 1 limbs for it in about the same draw weight!

Yep, I've had mine for many years and it is my all time favorite Bill. I judge all other by the Cheyenne. Mine has the foam core limbs and they are the best I have found, bar none. Only my opinion of course.

Any picts of yours?

I got a Cheyenne when Bob first started building them. One of the best bows I ever owned. Cocabola with copperheads and just a stunning looking and great shooting bow. Bill you are a blessed man.

God bless, Steve

If you have not shot Bob's Max1 limbs, then don't....that is if you don't want to  part with a few bucks.

They are by far the smoothest and quickest limbs I have ever shot or owned. Awesome!!!!!!

WildmanSC

Rick,

I've already heard about them from Doc Noc.  That will be my upgrade for the bow!

I just took a Cheyenne in on a trade and I have to say this is the first Morrison I have owned. I like it a lot.

Mike,

Just think. I'm not the most prolific buyer/seller that's been on TradGang.  Bob Barnes for one has bought and sold more than me!

Yes, the Cheyenne is a great bow.  Does yours have the Max 1 limbs?
