I have a Beat Takedown 45 lb @ 28" coming. It is a B riser for a 60 inch bow. I am going to probably shoot woodies with a bear head on it. I have some 2016's that should work with a 145 gr bear head. What would be a good starting point for carbon arrows??? My draw ia a little over 28 inches and my arrows are usually about 30 - 30 1/2" long. I dont mind some extra weight up front, but do not plan on anything 250-300 gr, going to use a 145 gr Bear head....Thanks, Scott

My Bear TD likes GT 1535 full length with 50 gr brass inserts and Bear Razorheads on short adapters. Total up front is 225.

A classic wood bow would really love some wood arrows....   ;)

Yes, I would like to get some reproduction Bear arrows. After watching the Fred Bear DVD set, I have an itch to get some made up...I have a set that were my dads sill in the box, but they are too light of a spine.

I draw 28 and have a B handle with 45# limbs. For carbons I shoot GoldTip 3555 cut 28 1/2" with a 125 grain point. Beman ICS 500 cut the same are identical for me. I'm also shooting some Microflites - 9 works the best but I can make 8 work in a pinch.

I'm using a skinny 9 strand fast flight string. With B-50 the MicroFlite 8s work fine.

With wood I figure 65-69 lb for 30" BOP.

Easton Axis 500s with 200 grains total up front should shoot real good with that set up.
