Hello,

I am considering the purchase of a Dryad Epic 17" riser. I know it is ILF, but I am wondering if there is anything else I should know about the compatibility of ILF to the Dryad riser i.e. will any medium ILF @ 28" 50# rate the same on an epic riser?

Thanks!
Toelke Classic Whip 48# @ 28"
Big Jim Buffalo 51# @ 29".

Let me see if I can help.

The thing about ILF limbs is that they are rated on different length risers.  Most target limbs are on a 25" and will gain 8 pounds when put on our risers.  TT limbs are rated on a 17" and will gain 2 pounds.  Our limbs are rated on a 19" and will gain 3 pounds.

IF you let me know what limb your looking at I can help with the math.  LOL

Mike!

Wow. That's service! I will let you know.

Would it be safe to say if I bought TT ilf longs @ 45# I'd get a 62" 47# @ 28". Am I doing the math correctly?

Yep, that's what I would expect.  I will warn you that TT limbs tend to run a bit heavy.

Just buy a set of the Epic Recurve limbs and never look back.

TT limbs do run just a bit heavy, I have a set of Dyrad Static recurve limbs that are just what they say they are and are great performers.
