Carbon weight tube problem

Hello folks, I have a problem and was hoping someone could shed some light.  I recently started shooting GT 55/75 shafts and added aquarium tubing to increase my overall weight.  The tubing is full length of shaft.  With nearly every shot, on impact the nock gets blasted out and the tubing comes a few inches out as well.  Just wondering if there is anything I can do to keep that bugger in the shaft?  I tried kinking the tube in opposite directions as was suggested when I searched past posts but that did not work.  Could I use a small dab of fletch glue on one side of the tubing to deep it in place or am I asking for trouble.  Any help would be appreciated.

Yeah, that happens. All I do is put a dab of fletching glue on the nock.

suggest  that you have the tubing the full length of the arrow and its fine to use cement on the tubing to the shaft and the nock to the shaft
Weight tubes are a close fitting to the ID of the shafts and they do not have this problem.

Thanks for the replies guys.  Bill, I think I will try the glue first but thanks very much for the offer, I will keep it in mind if this does not work.

Even with weight tubes, I still have to glue my nocks in or carry a pocket full of extras.

I have found that the weight tube must fit exactly in the shaft from behind the insert to the nock or inertia will cause them to blow the nock out.

HI, you can vary the fit (tightness) of the nock in the shaft by placing different thicknesses of cellophane (plastic bag material) over the nock before inserting it into the shaft, then trim excess with exacto knife. You can really get a tight nock fit like this, I do it all the time. Hope this helps,...Lloyd
