Anyone using heavy insets in their Victory VForce HV's?

Inside diameter of these arrows is listed as .245".  Anyone able to cross reference to another arrow for me?

thanks

Never question a man's choice in bows or the quality of an animal he kills.  He is the only one who has to be satisfied with either of those choices.

Rock 'N Bow

I believe the most common ID of carbon arrows is .246". If you score the inside of the arrow with a bronze bore brush and lightly sand and clean the insert, it should fit. I don't think .001" will be much of a difference. 3 Rivers has 50 and 100gr inserts. I have no first hand experience with VAP arrows, hopefully someone else will chime in.

Just glue a .243 bullet behind the standard insert. A lot cheaper. Been doing this for years.

I use the brass inserts from 3 Rivers, listed for Gold Tips. They work fine in the Victory shafts.just glue them in,that's all.

The 5/16" Easton/Gold Tip insert for either the 50 or 100 gn brass inserts work well.
