Still great bows, no matter what we call them!
And it is in that vicinity that the arguments always begin. I like shooting traditional bows and could care less what someone chooses to call them.    The only time it really matters is when competition rules are involved which gives me an excuse to buy a self bow to add to my pile.
I set out a while ago to reduce my herd of 40 bows...And I am finally down to 42

Looks like your closing in on the names of ALL the "150 or so bowyers".  When you ask for the best, you are going to get a boatload of opinions.  There are definitely a couple names that keep popping up though.

Yes, I was kind of hoping I could get by with only buying 2 or 3 of these "assertive" [my attempt at political correctness] bows, but it looks like it will need to be 7 or 8.
