I'm looking for companies that sell nicely figured exotic wood suitable for recurve risers.  I want to be able to see the blank that is for sale.  I'm looking for that "special" piece or at least good ideas for a custom build.

I found Cook Woods with an internet search and several places that list wood but they don't show actual photos of the blank like Cook does.  I also was recommended to check Gilmer Wood Co. but their website doesn't work for me...     :dunno:

Got any ideas?

Rare Earth Hardwoods. Their website is not the most user friendly, but they do have a great selection, and pictures of the actual piece that is for sale.
Plant a fruit or nut tree today, and have good hunting tomorrow.
