does any one use sleeves for there limbs..if so where do you get them at..OR how do you make them..thanks john

rwbowman

I use the Alaska Bowhunting sleeves. Much like a a spandex material. They're dead quiet on my recurve, but seem to have a 'slap' on my longbow. That said, I'll continue to use them on the long bow for turkeys. Picked them up from 3 Rivers.

John, I have a set of snakeskin print sleeves from Alaska bowhunting supply. If you want them,pm me your address and I'll drop them in the mail for you. Nick

I'm going to try the black  hockey tape mentioned on the other thread for turkey. Never cared for he socks getting hung up in thickets and brush. Which is why I got a matte hunting finish.

X2 with rwbowman.  They work great for me.

If you're just wanting to camo the back of the limbs, take a look at onestringer.com and their Limbsations...I got a set for my NM Classic and really like them.  They are a sponsor here.

Never question a man's choice in bows or the quality of an animal he kills.  He is the only one who has to be satisfied with either of those choices.
